PARADOGX Prototype Release!


After around half a year we are ready to present our prototype of the game's concept!

We wanted to create a randomly generated rhythm based game, similar to Crypt of the Necrodancer but with our own vision behind it. We wanted to create a 3D based game in Unity to have one more dimension of freedom. 

With simple low poly graphics we wanted to create something that is easy to understand, cute and also easy to develop and expand aswell.

The tutorial was a very importent part of this project and a lot of thought and work was put into it and tested with several playtesters. A S.M.A.R.T dog mode is also implemented in the options aswell to make it easier to play aswell!

PARADOGX was developed for a controller in mind and later ported to keyboard.

Our music behind it was crafted for this game. The goal was to create nice rhythms to bob your head to with melodies that can stuck in your head.  We wanted to create a mix between chiptune and electronic music that sounds like it could fit in a space scenario.

The generator as is, works sometimes good or even great and sometimes completely break sadly. We plan to implement a more fleshed out generator.

We would love to expand this game and create a more robust experience in the future if possible!
